In week two this term the evolution of mankind was thrown back a generation or two when our beautiful Cartmelians decided to ruin their good image and step out in prehistoric style! With dirty hair, muddy faces and poorly cut loincloth, the Carleton had never before seen such a strange sight (OK, so that’s a lie, the Carleton has seen far worse, but I’m just being dramatic).

As always at the Carleton it was a messy night, with one of our party getting punched in face, and our President kissing everyone he saw (which some may have enjoyed more than others… I know I did!). Award for best costume probably goes to those who arrived in cow-print for some reason – not quite sure if they got a bit confused about the theme! Anyway, the moral of the story is we all made it back safely and learnt a valuable lesson about the Carleton- it’s fun (but I think you all knew that already)!
