Although we are encouraging your revision and think you should, like us, be revising for at least 12 hours a day, it is our job to inform you about the socials that are happening in the next few weeks. Obviously we aren’t encouraging you to attend, as it would ruin your revision time, but y’know…we are encouraging you to read about them and want to go.

Week 2
On Tuesday night Cartmel does the Carleton as Cavepeople! Get out your fake fur from Freshers’ week (what, you don’t remember C for Cartmel?) and head on down to the Carleton on the 10.15 bus. If you don’t have a ticket, contact Beth or Michael the social secs at beth@cartmelcollege.co.uk or mike@cartmelcollege.co.uk.

Friday and Saturday is ROSES! This is a huge event in the Lancaster year, and one at which all the colleges can unite in a common goal. Get down to one of the many events and cheer your Uni on! For more details go to the Sports Roundup on page 9.

Week 3
See above – Pasty and Sam are getting Waxed for charity, Tuesday night in the bar.

Week 4
Karaoke is on this week, and last terms was a huge success so get down to the bar in the evening and get your requests in early as we ran out of time last term!
