Featured on the website at the moment is information on all the JCR exec, including what exactly they do and their full profiles which you caught a snippet of in the last Griffin A second great feature of the website is the inclusion of a Cartmel sports page. Hosted within this section are all the recent sports reports from the Sunday events of the Carter-shield competition. There is a gallery with photos taken at each individual event depicting our sporting hero’s giving it their all along with the fantastic supporters.

One of the best features of the site is the up to date social calendar, so if you have missed the weekly email and someone has torn down your block poster there is always somewhere you can go to find out what’s going on during the week.

A new addition to the site is the student welfare page where you can find information Ed. And Welfare and Equal opps, and their office hours. There is also information on the current campaigns that these officers are undertaking, such as drinks spiking and female defence.

Perhaps the best part of the new website is the brand new, and very well populated, Cartmel forum. It is the place for those who want to be up so up to date on what’s happening in Cartmel they can surprise their friendly neighbourhood JCR exec with info. There are also a few silly forum games, but everyone likes a bit of banter!
