Interview with the captain

How often are matches?

We will play each college twice so 16 matches over the year. 8 will be played in Michealmas term and 8 in the Lent term. We will then arrange matches amongst ourselves for the Summer term.

How often is training?

“Training” will involve coming to the bar on a Sunday evening, maybe while the quiz is on, and having a few games amongst ourselves. Matches will be Monday evening before a regular visit to Elements!

How competitive is college darts?

Obviously there is an element of competitiveness for the darts but mostly it is just another way of getting involved with the college and socialising. Come down on a Sunday and Monday for a few drinks, throw a few darts and get to know a few new people! Couldn’t be easier!

How can Cartmel improve on last years results?

Cartmel did well last year (compared to usual years!) and we finished a respectable position. This year to improve we just need to get a load more supporters who are willing to come and cheer us on. The atmosphere can be awesome when there are plenty of spectators so more people should come down to shout up for Cartmel! They will not be disappointed!
