About the JCR Exec

The JCR Executive is an active body of student volunteers- who are elected into different positions each year. As a team, they work towards meeting the needs of students across Cartmel (and at a University level too!) and are here to keep college spirit very much alive!

As such, feel free to stop by any of the JCR Exec, whether it be down the spine, in the Sugarhouse or at the Bar because they are afterall elected to serve you!

The JCR Exec also hold a weekly meeting where the Exec members meet to discuss what they been doing during the week and any other items of business deemed appropriate by the Chair. The minutes from these meetings are usually made available 7 days after the meeting was held here at the Cartmel College website. Furthermore if you are interested in running for the JCR Exec yourself then we have a small guide available, which explains the election process, and offers some useful advice.
